Who am I?

Hi there, Nyuutrino's the name!

I'm a proud amateur programmer.

I've been coding for a few years now. I'm always interested in the lower level or statically typed languages like Go or C.

Among the languages I am familiar with (besides English), I know HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP fairly well. I also know bits of Node JS, Go, and C/C++, which I am aiming to expand my knowledge on.

I'm always curious, and I can never get enough of that science (advanced & theoretical physics ftw)!

My passions...

Coding.

Of course!

It's so fun!

Science

"Science doesn't make the world go around, rather it tells us what does."
-Me

My favorite science subjects:

Physics (anything physics related), and chemistry.

Video games.

Who doesn't love them?

Ok, maybe some people...

My favorites:

Arma 3

Arma 3

Pow pow, boom boom! A fun and realistic military sandbox with detailed, plotful and entertaining campaigns.

Farming Simulator 2022

Farming Simulator 2022

Hop on that tractor and head out into the field to plant yer corn. Yessir, this is the game for ya if ya like yer big farm machinery (or small farm machinery, up to you).

American Truck Simulator

American Truck Simulator

Honk honk! Time to hop in your truck and head out onto the road. You're a trucker now! So watch out for the cars, ok?

Minecraft

Minecraft

This game needs no introduction. A sandbox game, allowing you to go wild with your imagination... or go wild trying to survive. Hehehe, I wonder what happens if I hit that iron golem over there...

My favorite songs

I am really into electronic music. I am also learning how to produce my own!

Aiobahn - しあわせになんてならないで - feat. ナナヲアカリ (Don't be happy)

The mellow and yet moving feeling that this track evokes makes it one of my favorites. Aiobahn is an awesome artist, and I enjoy listening to the songs he makes!

Bossfight - No Sleep (VIP)

I love how Bossfight makes his hard-hitting yet rhythmic and melodic sounds. That's one of the reasons why the song found its way onto this list. Catchy, rhythmic and epic. Bossfight never disappoints, you can be sure of that!

Camellia - Can I friend you on Bassbook? lol

Of course you could expect me to mention Camellia on this list. This guy's a legend! So is this song! He makes so many catchy songs that really blow me away. He's someone I look up to and hope to be one day as an amateur producer, and I think he 100% deserves being my role model. Just like this song 100% deserving a spot on this list!

Au5, Cyazon, Tyler Graves - Before You Leave

Au5 is one of the first artists that come into mind when I hear the term "melodic dubstep." His level of sound design is mindblowing, and his capability to transform these sounds into an ethereal soundscape that takes you through an emotional journey is unparalleled. This song reflects these qualities of Au5. It's why I put it on this list!

My projects </>

Update: Unfortunately, replit has deprecated free hosting, so websites made with anything other than pure HTML/CSS/JS (i.e, using PHP/NodeJS) need to be "deployed", which costs money. Most of these projects I did for the purpose of entertainment and growth, so I don't want to spend money on them. You can still see the replit project, but the website will no longer be accessible other than by running the repl.

Stargaze

An interactive Stargazing simulator. Downloadable as a PWA (web app), and fully functional offline (as well as having cache control), this was a month long project that took a lot of effort and I am very proud of.

CLIp

CLIp was my attempt at making a CLI language. It was pretty fun and for a while I was working hard on it. Alas, this project didn't last long. However, its remanents serves as a valuable reminder of how much I learned. The website was my first large project in which I used a server language (Go) extensively, and the language itself helped me understand more about how a programming language works behind the scenes and allowed me to better appreciate its intricate and beautiful nature. I enjoyed the journey very much and was glad that I made it.

Fake BSoD

This was meant as a prank for my Dad because I wanted him to think I broke my school computer... so I made a windows-like BSoD to trick him (it partially worked).

My collaborations </>

Sorta-Craft

A Minecraft-remake made by Tussiez. I saw his wonderful game and couldn't resist asking him to let me collaborate on it. Through my collaboration I have helped him make it work offline, make a version system, and now even helping make it have a terminal where users can execute commands! A lovable game that I shall never forget.

Thank you for reading my portfolio! I hope you liked it!
